Marketing Survey

As part of the ongoing review of the marketing initiatives to promote McLaren Vale Shopping Centre, we invite retailers to provide feedback on the marketing undertaken to date, together with comments and suggestions for future marketing.

The marketing undertaken at the Centre is funded in partnership between contributions received from retailers and monies provided by the Landlord. All marketing initiatives promoting the Centre must be managed within that combined budget.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will be taken into consideration when formulating the 2014/15 marketing plan. A draft of the plan will be made available to you in April 2014 for your review and comment.

    Marketing activities over the past 6 months:

    • On the Coast Newspaper - Branding ads mentioning all retailers, branded editorial pages, ads featuring individual retailers (September 2013, October 2013, January 2014, February 2014)
    • Coast FM Radio - 30 second branding ad for the centre, talking about the diversity of stores located at McLaren Vale Central (October 2013, November 2013)
    • Fleurieu Living Magazine - Quarterly Publication - Branding ad mentioning all retailers (Summer Edition - December 2013 - February 2014)
    • Christmas Event - Santa's visit to the Centre in a roving capacity, covering all areas of the Centre - handing out branded McLaren Vale Central Christmas Colouring books (December 2013). Colouring books available as handouts to individual stores.
    • Southern Times Messenger - Branding ads mentioning all retailers and detailing in-store competitions, catalogues and events i.e. Christmas (November 2013, December 2013)
    • Catalogue & Centre Competition - A catalogue letterbox drop to the McLaren Vale and Willunga areas, featuring Centre details, retailer branding and coupons/promotions. This was combined with the Centre competition to promote business between the split levels (November 2013)
